The first time I met Jeanmarie Moore I knew she was special. Office Moms & Dads had only been operating for six months, but we were eager to share the idea with our neighbors in Cowlitz County, Washington. She had travelled to our office in Vancouver with her counterpart, Teresa Rivera, who would later become the in-office liaison for the Cowlitz program, and together they would champion the implementation of the first-ever extension of Office Moms & Dads, “from the time I went to Vancouver to see how they did things, I was hooked. This was a GOOD idea that really made a difference”.
